If you don’t know me in real life, you’re probably finding this from one of my DIYs or travel pieces and I’m so glad you did. Those are a couple of my most popular posting categories and I wish I could say you will only find those topics on this blog because “niching down” and “picking a category” is usually how things are done with media platforms. I can understand why that advice is so commonly given but there’s nothing wrong with coloring outside the lines, in my opinion.

I was born and raised in Southern California, went to school in San Diego, and after that have lived in San Francisco, Napa Valley, and New York CIty. I loved being able to experience different cities and the gems each has to offer. I’m back and based in Orange County California which is certainly home for me. As much as I’ve been saying “I want to settle more in one place” I also realized that isn’t mutually exclusive with always wanting to travel (and sharing the fun spots and itineraries with you here, of course!)

When I’m not out and about, I’m most likely:

Creating something: a new video, a seasonal DIY, figuring out how to upcycle something, making some decor, pressing flowers, or learning yet another new hobby (most recent I’ve taken up is crochet)
At the thrift store: god I love the thrill of a thrift hunt. Finding something and thinking about how to flip it, searching through the racks and finding an absolute gem, looking for craft supplies is all so fun and I love how it’s better for the environment too. A fun way to make a little impact if you ask me!
Playing with makeup: makeup is such a fun way to express yourself. I’ve been fortunate to receive a good amount of PR from brands that has allowed me to really play around and I love sharing my experience with the products and what’s worth it—makeup can be pricey! My hope is to share my thoughts and steer your to what you’re looking for.
Finding my new favorite health snack: I’ve struggled with different health issues over the years and love finding fun better for you snacks. I’ve also struggled with skin issues like acne, eczema, and rosacea, and as much as I believe what goes on inside your body impacts your skin, finding the right skincare for the outside is important too! Through a lot of trial error, I’ve found some great finds that I also love to share with you.

I also love listening to music, dancing to live music, going on a walk with little miss pup, moving my body, strolling the farmers market, and ripping some guitar hero every now and again to make sure I still have that dog in me.

I know all this info might sound like it could be used to go on a dating profile but these are all the types of things you’ll find sprinkled in my content. And don’t be surprised if you see a random video about bees or some other animal from a day I went down a deep dive out of curiosity. And I absolutely LOVE an inspirational quote or motivational audio so fair warning those are thrown in here and there too. A little bit of this, and a little bit of that if you will!
